Meet Ellie Pool, the Author Behind League of Lies
Ellie Pool grew up on the Canadian prairies, where faith, family, and freedom became important parts of her life. Her interest in history, human behaviour, and the influence of authority led her to examine why societies change and how people respond to those in power.
After more than twenty years of research into history, psychology, and contemporary events, Ellie brought those interests together in her debut novel, League of Lies. Through fiction, she explores deception, political influence, individual freedom, and the human tendency to accept familiar narratives without questioning them.
Now retired, Ellie lives in Saskatchewan, Canada, with her husband and two cats, Thor and Loki. She enjoys writing, gardening, and watching baseball.
